An announcement about The Swarm

Hi there,

I have some exciting news to share.

After building this community of over 186,818 progressive activists from around the country, Mary is moving on from The Swarm to take on a new opportunity. 

Mary built The Swarm from the ground up. She took on targets no one else would, and she worked with people like you to score massive wins for the progressive movement. We couldn’t be prouder of all she’s done, and we can’t wait to see what she achieves in her new role.

But Mary’s not the only one taking on a new challenge. 

My name is Matt, and I’ll be carrying the torch forward with updates and opportunities for our swarm of activists to demand more accountability, more big wins, and a better future for all of us.

I’ve been working with the Civic Shout network for just over a year now, but activism isn’t new to me. One of my earliest memories was speaking out at a school board meeting in Ames, Iowa to make sure my friends’ bus line didn’t get cut, and I haven’t been silent since. People like you, who speak up for what’s right, are my kind of people.

So, this weekend, I want to ask you to speak up about something new. Can you tell me what kinds of issues you want to hear more about as I continue writing updates for The Swarm?
