Tell Congress: Stop the attacks on charities serving immigrants!

Charities that feed, shelter, and support immigrant communities are under attack — and we need to fight back.

The Trump administration and its allies in Congress are waging a coordinated campaign to defund and dismantle organizations that help immigrants. Vital nonprofits like Catholic Charities of San Antonio have been forced to shut down refugee programs because of politically motivated funding freezes. Others have had their federal grants abruptly withheld with no explanation.

This is not about accountability — it’s about cruelty and control.

Congressional Republicans are falsely accusing charities of “aiding illegal immigration” simply because they provide humanitarian support. Their goal? To punish compassion and make it harder for migrants and asylum seekers to access help.

We can’t let this go unchallenged.
