Congress gets pensions. Why don’t you?
Millions of Americans are on the brink of a retirement catastrophe — and time is running out to stop it.
Right now, nearly half of U.S. workers have no retirement savings. For decades, corporations have stripped away traditional pensions, leaving working people with high-risk 401(k)s and false promises.
But this week, Senator Bernie Sanders introduced the Pensions for All Act — a groundbreaking bill that could finally turn things around.
It would require corporations to provide every worker with a pension plan that guarantees a monthly income in retirement. And if they refuse? Workers would be entitled to the same secure pension that members of Congress get.
This could be the most critical retirement legislation in decades. But if we don’t act fast, corporate lobbyists will bury it before it ever reaches a vote.
We need a surge of public pressure—right now—to keep this bill alive.
This bill just dropped. Lawmakers are watching to see if voters care. Let’s make sure they hear us loud and clear—before it’s too late.
Thanks,
Mary
