Tell Congress to stop efforts to criminalize protests!

Senator Ted Cruz is pushing a dangerous bill that would use anti-mafia laws to prosecute protest organizers and funders. His so-called “Stop FUNDERs Act” would let the government treat peaceful protesters like criminal gangs.

Experts warn this plan could make it a federal crime to support or organize peaceful demonstrations — even though 99.5% of the No Kings protests have been entirely non-violent. It’s an outrageous attack on the First Amendment and on every American’s right to speak out.

This isn’t about “rioters.” It’s about silencing dissent. If Cruz’s bill passes, anyone who donates to, plans, or simply shows up at a protest could be targeted. That’s not democracy — that’s repression.

Tell Congress: reject Ted Cruz’s plan and defend our right to protest.
