Tell House Oversight Chairman Comer to subpoena DHS Secretary Kristi Noem

Things just got worse.

Yesterday, ICE agents arrested New York City Comptroller Brad Lander while he was peacefully attending an immigration hearing in support of a constituent. He’s not just an ally — he’s an elected official. And this comes just days after Senator Alex Padilla was handcuffed at a press conference by DHS agents.

That’s two democratically elected leaders detained in less than a week. Under Secretary Kristi Noem, ICE and DHS are becoming tools of political intimidation — and no one in power is answering for it.

Secretary Noem continues to stonewall Congress, refusing to testify about these dangerous abuses. House Oversight Chair James Comer has so far declined to subpoena her.

We can’t let this go unanswered.
