Hands Off Our Universities

The Trump administration has launched a sweeping attack on higher education — targeting medical schools at Stanford University, The Ohio State University, and the University of California, San Diego.

According to recent reporting from AP News and The Hill, federal officials are demanding sensitive admissions data and investigating diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs that help students from marginalized backgrounds access medical education.

These actions aren’t about fairness — they’re about rolling back civil rights protections and restricting who gets the opportunity to become a doctor.

This is happening right now — and it will only escalate if we stay silent.

We’ve launched a petition calling on U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and Congress to stop these politically motivated attacks on our universities.

Experts warn that dismantling DEI programs will reduce access to medical education and worsen inequities in our healthcare system. Diverse medical schools train doctors who can better serve all communities—attacking these programs harms

We cannot let this stand.

Then share this email and help build the pressure needed to stop these attacks before they go even further.

Thanks,
Mary
