The House has already passed a brutal budget bill. Now, President Trump’s proposed budget doubles down—slashing $10 billion from Section 8 housing vouchers and cutting federal housing support to its lowest level in decades.

If this passes the Senate, the consequences will be catastrophic.

We need a groundswell of public pressure to protect the people and programs that keep our communities safe, stable, and humane.

More than 1 million low-income households, including seniors, veterans, people with disabilities, and families with children, could lose the assistance they rely on to stay housed. Waitlists will explode. Shelters will overflow. Cities are warning they’ll be forced to turn people away.

The Senate is back in session — and leaders are rushing to finalize the bill before the July 4th recess. That gives us just days to stop this devastating proposal.
