Donald Trump’s Treasury Secretary just announced a disgusting scheme to exploit America’s 250th anniversary: putting Trump’s face on a new $250 bill.

Trump already treats the government like it belongs to him. Now his allies want to stamp his face on U.S. currency. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent says his department has already created the design.

But current law bars living people from appearing on U.S. paper currency. Trump’s allies need Congress to change the law before they can turn our money into a shrine to one man’s ego. That means we still have time to stop them.
