Reject Trump's Personal Lawyer for Attorney General

Donald Trump is trying to put his own criminal defense lawyer in charge of the Department of Justice.

Todd Blanche defended Trump in major criminal cases. Now Trump wants the Senate to make him attorney general — giving his personal lawyer lasting control over the agency that decides who gets investigated, who gets prosecuted, and whether the law applies equally to the powerful. It's corruption waiting to happen.

The attorney general does not work for Donald Trump. The attorney general works for the Constitution and the American people. No president should be allowed to turn the Department of Justice into their personal law firm.
