Spotify must end its partnership with ICE
Spotify is helping ICE recruit.
The world’s largest streaming service is airing recruitment ads for Immigration and Customs Enforcement — the same agency responsible for family separation, mass deportations, and terrorizing immigrant communities.
These ads promise sign-on bonuses and perks to join ICE’s enforcement ranks. And Spotify’s response? They claim the ads “don’t violate company policy.”
That’s not good enough. Every time ICE runs a recruitment ad on Spotify, the company is normalizing fear and violence against immigrants. Spotify profits from our playlists, our subscriptions, and our trust — yet it’s choosing to amplify an agency built on cruelty.
Spotify could take these ads down today. It could stand with artists and listeners instead of siding with ICE. If enough of us speak out, Spotify’s leadership will have no choice but to act. We’ve seen public pressure work before — and we can make it happen again.
Over 600 million people use Spotify. That’s 600 million reasons for the company to do the right thing.
This could be our last chance to stop ICE from turning Spotify into its recruitment pipeline. We need action now — before it’s too late.
 Thanks,
Mary
