Democrats must stand firm during the Republican shutdown!

Republicans have shut down the government — and Donald Trump is pushing for cuts to health care and vital services. Democrats must hold firm and refuse ransom demands.

When we flood the Senate with messages, Democrats negotiate from a position of strength. Public pressure stiffens spines in the room and makes clear that any bad deal will be held to account.

We’re demanding the Senate pass a measure to reopen government, protect Affordable Care Act premium tax credits, and reverse Medicaid cuts — not concede to extremist cuts.
