Tell Congress: Outlaw Trump's Crypto Bribery Scheme
Donald Trump is selling access to the presidency. And he's not even pretending otherwise.
Now, his $TRUMP meme coin company just launched a contest for "the most exclusive dinner in the world."
The 185 biggest $TRUMP coin holders get a November 22 gala with Trump at a Trump golf club near Washington. The top 29 get a private VIP reception with the president. The top four get an 18-karat Trump-branded gold watch. A live scoreboard ranks every buyer. And if they buy more, they get closer to the president.
If this isn't bribery, what is? And it's not his first time. Trump did this in May 2025. He did it again at Mar-a-Lago this April. Now he's back for round three.
It's time for Congress to stop it from happening again.
Congress could have stopped this already. More than a year ago, lawmakers in both the House and Senate introduced bills to ban the president, members of Congress, and their families from cashing in on meme coins and other crypto schemes. Those bills have been gathering dust ever since.
Meanwhile, regular people are getting fleeced. The coin has crashed roughly 97 percent from its peak. Nearly a million investors reportedly lost $3.81 billion through June. The biggest buyers get gold watches. Everyone else gets wiped out.
And who's buying a seat at that table? Lobbyists? Corporations? Foreign interests? We don't know — and that's the problem. When anonymous wallets can buy time with the president, the government stops working for you.
The scoring window closes November 12. The Senate returns November 9. Our members of Congress have no excuse not to publicly condemn this scheme before the midterms and then ban it for good.
Thanks for all that you do,
Matt from the Swarm
