Tell Congress: Stop Trump's War Crimes Against Iran
The United States is on the verge of a decision that could define its moral standing for generations.
Donald Trump has threatened to destroy Iran’s bridges and power plants—warning that “the whole country is getting blown up.” At the United Nations, Ambassador Mike Waltz carried that message to the world, arguing these attacks would be permissible.
Experts warn that strikes on power grids, water systems, and transportation networks would devastate civilians and risk violating the laws of war. If these attacks move forward, the damage will be immediate—and Congress will have failed to act when it mattered most.
Tell Congress: Block attacks on civilian infrastructure and use your authority to stop this war now.
If the United States destroys civilian power plants, hospitals will go dark. If bridges fall, food and medicine will stop moving. And if water desalination plants are destroyed, entire communities suffer.
Massive weapons purchased with our tax dollars could destroy civilian life in the blink of an eye, and the damage could last for decades to come. The entire region could be pushed into long-term crisis as refugees are forced to flee.
Congress can stop this. Lawmakers can block funding for these strikes, invoke their war powers authority, and force a halt to escalation—and ultimately bring this war to an end.
Together, we must demand that Congress act now—before this escalation locks in years of suffering and irreversible harm.
Thanks,
Matt
