According to CNBC, The Hill, and The New York Times, President Trump is pressuring Netflix to remove former Ambassador Susan Rice from its board after she criticized corporations that bend the knee to him, and said that Trump wasn’t popular. At the same time, Trump’s Department of Justice is reviewing Netflix’s proposed acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery — a deal that requires federal approval.

Business Insider reports that experts say this level of presidential involvement in a corporate takeover is unprecedented.
