The EPA Is Failing Our Kids. Congress Must Act Now.
Nearly half of American children are breathing dangerous, polluted air right now — damaging their lungs, triggering asthma attacks, and putting their long-term health at risk, according to a new American Lung Association report.
The EPA was supposed to protect them. It didn’t. Trump has gutted clean air protections and empowered polluters, and the EPA has failed to stop it. Weak enforcement and weak standards are leaving kids to pay the price with their health.
The EPA has failed our kids. Now it's time to demand that Congress take action to protect them.
This crisis hits hardest in low-income communities and communities of color, where children are far more likely to breathe toxic air. The consequences are immediate and lasting — more asthma attacks, missed school, and lifelong health damage — even though this harm is entirely preventable.
We cannot accept a country where children grow up breathing polluted air because leaders refused to act.
We must demand that Congress use its power to step in, restore protections, and hold polluters accountable.
Thanks,
Matt from the Swarm
