Tell Congress to investigate Trump’s $400 million jet from Qatar

President Trump is accepting a $400 million luxury jet from Qatar—not after leaving office—but right now, while serving as president.

The plane, modeled after Air Force One, is meant to be used during his presidency and then passed to his personal foundation.

This is a gift from a foreign authoritarian regime with deep interests in U.S. policy. And it reeks of corruption.

If this deal goes through without scrutiny, it sets a terrifying precedent: foreign governments can curry favor with lavish gifts to sitting presidents.

That’s not just unethical. It may violate the Constitution’s ban on foreign emoluments.

Senator Chuck Schumer has already put a hold on Trump’s DOJ nominees over the scandal. But that’s not enough. We need a full Congressional investigation—now.

This could be our last chance to hold him accountable before the plane takes off—literally.
