Tell Congress to stop the weaponization of the IRS!

The Trump White House is moving to weaponize the IRS against its political opponents.

According to The Wall Street Journal, NBC News, and The Guardian, officials are drafting plans to overhaul the IRS, install loyalists, and launch investigations into liberal nonprofits and major Democratic donors — including George Soros and progressive foundations.

Vice President J.D. Vance even announced on The Charlie Kirk Show that the administration would use federal agencies to “identify, disrupt, and destroy” what it calls “left-wing extremism.”

This isn’t tax enforcement. It’s political retribution — and it’s exactly what our democracy cannot survive.

Congress must immediately investigate this abuse of power, hold public hearings, and pass laws to ensure the IRS remains independent of partisan control.
