Tell Congress to pass gun reform legislation!

Violence is never the answer — and gun violence isn’t inevitable. It’s the result of weak laws and leaders who put the gun lobby first. The shooting at Evergreen High School in Colorado is another reminder that no student, educator, or community is spared.

We can choose differently. According to Everytown for Gun Safety, there have been at least 96 incidents of gunfire on school grounds this year — and that count was before Evergreen. Our kids deserve classrooms, and all of us deserve public spaces, free from gunfire.

Demand Congress pass real reforms now: universal background checks on all gun sales, a strong federal extreme-risk law, safe storage, closing loopholes, and a ban on assault weapons and high-capacity magazines.
