Whistleblowers and reporting say Meta buried child-safety research.

New whistleblower revelations and investigative reporting point to a disturbing pattern at Meta: internal research about kids being groomed and harassed in virtual-reality spaces was buried or minimized. When children are at risk, silence is deadly.

We’re rallying a wave of public pressure to force transparency and action. When tens of thousands of us sign, we’ll deliver this petition to Meta’s top leadership — and to key oversight bodies in Congress and the FTC — to raise the political and reputational cost of delay and make it impossible to ignore.

Our demands are clear: publish the full record of youth-safety research; pause teen access to risky VR products and halt AI features for minors until an independent audit verifies strong protections; implement real age verification and adequate parental controls; and publicly back stronger federal safeguards like the Kids Online Safety Act and COPPA 2.0.

Thanks,
Mary
